The one thing that annoys me the most when attaching and removing my LED Cinema Display from my MacBook Pro is that window positions are lost and some windows end up half off the screen, etc. Stay is a nice little menubar utility for Mac OS X to help you keep your windows organized in such situations which was released just six days ago.

Stay works great, except it doesn’t support Spaces (multiple desktops) yet. The FAQ states “[t]he ability store and restore windows across all Spaces is being looked at for a future version” and also Twitter gives hope.
