After announcing a (not so) massive price drop from $599 to $399 for the 8GB iPhone Apple posted a new page for the future Wi-Fi Music Store to buy songs on the go. The page shows an iPhone at 9:42 AM with the same time displayed in the clock app’s icon. Other iPhone pictures at apple.com still display the 10:15 icon even though the digital clock shows 9:42 AM.

New static clock icon or working clock symbol? The next firmware update will show. An updated calculator icon will definitely be bundled with the Wi-Fi Music Store firmware update.
Really geeky, I know — but I couldn’t help noticing it.

One of the first photos comparing the US iPhone with the UK one running software version 1.1.1 (left) shows a clock icon that doesn’t display the current time.

Update 1.1.1 didn’t include a working clock icon.

… neither does my 1.1.2 iPhone. I’m waiting Apple!
