Dear Facebook: Seriously?

Dear Facebook,

you’re telling me my mail@DOMAIN address is invalid because individuals can’t use generic mail prefixes. The reasoning behind this: they are often used by organizations.

NEWS FLASH: It’s 2009 and I am indeed allowed to buy a domain name and do whatever I want with it!

In ten years I’m using said mail@DOMAIN address you are the first site making this stuff up! At least let me verify my address.

Thanks.

PS: Ask Google what context-sensitive in regard to advertising means.
